More thanks! To Scotia Mcleod and the Pacific Forestry Centre for hiring us to perform for their holiday festivities. We had a great time - and from the laughter, it sounds like you did too.

The Impromaniacs are about to take their Winter Solstice Hibernation. But when the odometer of life moves from 2003 to 2004 - we will be there ready for all sorts of new fun.

A big thanks to the Comox Valley Credit Union for letting us be a part of their Holiday Festivities this year. We had a blast - I know I'd feel secure leaving my money with you folks!

Time flies! Hey... it's December already and the Impromaniacs are getting ready for their Chrismas break... although if you do have a function you'd like us to perform at, please contact us! We are narrowing down a location for a new venue... so keep in touch.

Thanks to everyone who has expressed an interest in auditioning for the Impromaniacs! Auditions are well underway now and we are no longer able to accept new auditioners. If you are still interested, we'll probably be holding auditions in late April / May 2004. If you'd like to keep up to date on Impromaniacs happenings, you can sign up to our mailing list.
Hey folks! I came across this link on the Unexpected Productions (Seattle, WA) website - The PlayBook - it's a wonderful compilation of Improv games etc. from all over! Check it out!

In Flanders Fields

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

- John McCrae

...Still looking for a new venue. We are grooving to get one by January 2004. Fingers crossed!

Guess what? We're looking for a new venue. Unfortunately, our previous venue, the Diner, has closed down for the winter and consequently has left us looking for a new home.

We are following up with some leads around town... so stay tuned!
