CAGE MATCH SEMI-FINALS - ROUND #5

VICTORIA Put on your walking shoes and come out to witness the cross-border creativity take to the ring… it’s CAGE MATCH time!

April 14th at the Victoria Event Centre is the first of the Cage Match SEMI-FINAL rounds! We put two semi-finalist teams of improvisers in the ring to duke it out for audience votes and see who tips the scale and moves on and who goes home.

Our January winners, UVIC Improv, jump into the ring with our cross-border February winning team, Upfront Theatre (Bellingham) and pit their mental powers against one another to see who gets to advance to the final round!

“UVIC Improv knows how to draw in the crowd” says Managing Director, Jonathan Argue. “It’s going to be a tough battle for our visiting US team!”

Audiences will be the determining factor in teams’ advancement, and audience stacking, bribing, and begging will be common occurrences.

Come have your say on Saturday, April 14th and decide who goes on, and who goes home.

Before the competition kicks off, the Impromaniacs will bring you short scenes and theatre games.
