CAGE MATCH - ROUND #3

VICTORIA Get out your verbal hammerlocks and dust off your melodrama, it’s time once again for a Cage Match… of wits.

March 3rd at the Victoria Event Centre is ROUND #3 of the Cage Match series which will put two teams of improvisers in the ring to duke it out for audience votes and see who’s the smack down superstar of spontaneity.

This month Vancouver teams The Boys Next Door and AKA Improv pit their mental powers against one another to see who gets to come back again for a second challenge in the semi-finals.

“We’re happy to be returning to the Island,” says AKA Improv member Andrew Chen. “We’ve been practicing our mental Yoga, so look out Victoria!”

Audiences will be the determining factor in teams’ advancement, and audience stacking, bribing, and begging will be common occurrences.

“The Impromaniacs are working hard to strengthen the Island’s Improv connections,” says Impromaniacs Managing Director, Jonathan Argue. “It’s what we’ve been doing since we appeared back in 1989.”

Come have your say on Saturday, March 3rd and decide who goes on, and who goes home.

Before the competition kicks off, the Impromaniacs will bring you short scenes and theatre games.
