“Impromaniacs: The Musical” unleashes sound and fury on Victoria.

VICTORIA – The Impromaniacs, Victoria’s premiere improvisational theatre company, will be filling your hearts with joyous festive glee this holiday season.

On December 15, they will be performing “Impromaniacs: The Musical”, which will feature the improv and vocal talents of the company.

“You know, I’ve been writing these press releases for months now, and I never get a quote,” noted frazzled Media Liaison Steve May. “Well, I’m performing in this one. I’ve been working my voice, and I plan on having fun. You will too, if you come.”

Music and Theatre both have a strong history of improvisation. And now they will be brought together at the Victoria Event Centre.

“The great thing about improv is that you never know where you are until you get there,” explained Master of Improvisation Alex Wlasenko. “And did I mention it’s a musical? That’s just, well, wack.”

Showtime will be 8:00 pm at the Victoria Event Centre. Tickets will be $10, and $8 for students and seniors. Tickets will be available at the door. They also can be purchased at Lyle’s Place (770 Yates St.) If you buy your tickets in advance – we’ll give you 3 bucks off!
