Impromaniacs Presesent EUROPEAN VACATION Ft. NAROBOV!

VICTORIA – The Impromaniacs, Victoria’s original Improv Company, are thrilled to bring you EUROPEAN VACATION Ft. NAROBOV, at the Victoria Event Centre, 1415 Broad Street on Thursday, June 19 at 8:00 pm.

The Impromaniacs are extremely excited to present a very special evening of improvised theatre featuring the amazing Narobov all the way from Slovenia. As a special kickoff event for October’s upcoming Victoria International Improv Festival 2008, Narobov will be presenting their own unique, funny and touching piece entitled “Tok Tok.” The evening will also feature a long form improvised performance by the Impromaniacs as well as an improvised “Jam session” starring members of both Narobov and the Impromaniacs!

“Tok Tok” as presented by Narobov’s
Alenka Marinič and Tomaž Lapajne is piece about how two people sometimes stick to each other too much and sometimes not enough. Utilizing elements of clowning, improv and physical theatre, “Tok Tok” is just strange enough to be laugh-out-loud funny, while still allowing the audience to recognize elements of themselves in the performance. Narobov will create a memorable improv experience that is affected by the space in which it is performed and the very audience who is watching it.

The entire performance will be created before the audience’s eyes, as we take our inspiration from audience suggestion and instantly weave them into improvised stories that are sure to delight! We've got something for everyone! Bring the whole family (and your best suggestions) out for this evening of great live entertainment featuring some fantastic improvisational talent from Narobov of Slovenia.
